With the remnants of hurricane Bertha lashing the east coast, the event was actually in doubt in the days leading up to the Great Yarmouth Half Marathon.
Thankfully, the race went ahead and Richard’s HM charity challenge was able to continue. You can read his report on his challenge website.
The race was won by Thomas Stevens of Datchet Dashers in 1:11:48 with the first lady home being Michelle Morris of Ampthill and Flitwick Flyers in 1:33:43.
