Saturday 9 August saw the full and half Tour of Bradwell.

Full tour

The full tour is a very tough 33 mile ultra trail/fell run in the Peak District with 6300 feet of climb. The route visits Bradwell Moor, Hollins Cross, Kinder Scout, Lose Hill, Win Hill Woods, Stanage Edge, Burbage and the Abney Valley.

This race was won by Ian Symington of Calder Valley Fell Runners in 5:10:14. First lady was Helen Pickford Sheffield RC in 6:06:15. There were 86 finishers.

Half tour

A half tour is a tough 16 mile (3000 feet of climb) trail/fell run that visits Bradwell Moor, Hollins Cross, Lose Hill and Win Hill Woods. There were 83 finishers and the race was won by Neil Northrop in 2:01:36. Helen Mort was the first female finisher in 2:24:42.
