Brass Monkey Half Marathon Result

The Brass Monkey Half Marathon was true to its name on Sunday 18 January. Cold conditions and an ice skating rink on miles 4 to 7 did not stop Steel City Striders collecting a haul of PBs. Well done everyone! Also, congratulations to Richard Hayes who completes his challenge of 13 half marathons in 13 months.

The race was won by Daniel Jenkin of Durham City Harriers in 1:08:57 and Shona Mcintosh of Hunters Bog Trotters in 1:16:13. Full results are on the ResultsBase website.

Also here are some photos of the Striders in action, Ben McNeilage, and his son took photos, at the halfway point and finish.
