In stark contrast to the wet, windy and downright awful weather of the 2014 race we were blessed with a glorious evening this time around.
As we have already reported, there was a record turnout of Striders at a single event with 89 running amongst the 419 who completed the race.
A stunning turnout that we hope to replicate at the remaining three 5 mile races.

Daniel Chan of Barnsley AC came home first in 27:18 with Will Beauchamp of Sheffield RC and our very own David Palmer close behind in 28:05 and 28:21 respectively. David was the first V40 home.
First lady past the post was Laura Allen of Totey in 31:50.
