Now a permanent fixture in the monthly race calendar, the Trust 10 continues its success and its love affair with the Striders. 127 runners this month and almost 20% of them were Striders, lending one comment at the beginning to be, ‘it’s a bit like a club run, this’. As always, many thanks to Ruth and her team of marshalls for the organisation and support around the course.
James Rose won it for the Striders this time round in a time of 42.19. Jenny Featherstone of Totley pipped our Jen to first woman in a time of 48.07. Big well done to all the Striders, especially Michael Richardson on his debut run in what he described as, ‘the hardest 10k I’ve ever done!’.
