Race Date: Sunday 16th October 2016
First off, massive thanks and congratulations to Richard Pegg and the team of marshalls he put together for organising and overseeing a great cross country event at Norfolk Park in what can only be described at ‘challenging’ weather conditions early doors. I really don’t think that runners always appreciate the hard work behind the scenes and the dedication of the volunteers involved in hosting an event so WELL DONE and THANKS to all of the Striders who helped out on Sunday – you did the club proud.
The provisional results do not contain times so I will update when I get them but here are the positions of the women’s and men’s races. A great turnout from the Striders so well done to all the runners.
The women’s race was three laps of a 1700m track so 5.1k in total including three times up ‘that’ hill!
