The Snake Lane 10 miler, Pocklington

Race Date: Sunday 21st February 2016

The popular and well established race is a fairly flat, fast 10 miler from the beautiful village of Pocklington. Arranged by Pocklington runners, the race is almost as successful as the Percy Pud in that it sold out this year in just 5 hours. As its name suggests, the course has a winding stretch that snakes its way through beautiful East Yorkshire countryside at the foot of the glorious Wolds. There were 2 striders in attendance picking up hand thrown mugs for their efforts. Well done Michael and John.

The race was won by Russ Best of New Marske Harriers AC in 52.40. The first woman home was Tanya Seager of Stainland Lions Road Runners in 61.03.
