Race date: Tuesday 13th June 2017
Kindly organised by the Handsworth Roadhogs this 5.25 mile trail race is happily described as “Undulating – Fields and Woods” – not flat, then!
113 runners took part with Dan Burkinshaw of Kimberworth Striders tearing home first in 33:44. Julie Wilson of the Hallamshire Harriers was first woman home in 39:51; our very own Strider, Jennifer Rich, was second woman (and first Strider) home, in an impressive 40:23.
According to the results sheet, 9 Striders finished the course.
