Whilst many other striders were heading to the North East to join Mo, Asha opted instead for rainy Wales for her half marathon.

The Lake Vyrnwy half has been ran annually since 1988, originating as a centenary appeal to raise money for repairs to St Wddyn’s church at Llanwddyn.

This year, the race was won by Jonny Mellor of Liverpool Harriers in 01.04.57 and Elizabeth Renondeua of Ellesmere Port RC in 01.21.17
