2722 runners took part in the City of Salford 10k with two Striders; Carol Beattie and Timothy Ryan.

Mohammed Abu-Rezeq of Altrincham & District AC won the men’s race in 30:58 with Ruth Sinclair of Stockport Harriers & AC winning the ladies race in 39:08.

Carol came home in 47:25 for a 42nd placed female and a mighty impressive 3rd place WV60.
