A lovely day and a flat and fast course, what more do you want from a Half Marathon?

Jonny Law and David Whittaker made the short trip to North Yorkshire for the Vale of York Half Marathon which was contested by 865 runners.

The race was won by Jason Cherriman of Leeds City AC in 1:09:26, with the first lady home Shona Fletcher of Richmond and Zetland Harriers in 1:18:42.

Congratulations to Jonny for breaking 90 mins for the time.
