Here are the races in the 2016 Striders Road race championship. Please note the first race is Dewsbury on Sunday 7th February. This race does sell out so please book yourself on it soon.
Almost the same format as last year, 9 races with your best 5 scores counting and 10 bonus points for each race ran.
The reason why we have gone from 10 races to 9 is because of the entry limitations now in place for the SYCAA 5 mile road series. We usually had two of these races in the championship, but because not every member can now run these races we feel it is unfair to put them into the championships.
Full details can be found on the Road championship pages.
The championships are open to all Striders members, the competition is free (excluding the obvious race entry fees) and the top two runners in each age category (senior, V40, V50, V60) win a prize at the end of the season.
Full details of the 2015 winners can be found on the Road results pages.
