Race Date: Sunday 29th November 2015
I heard a quiet rumour somewhere that a bunch of Striders had snuck off to Florence to run the marathon. Surprised they didn’t tell us. I thought I’d better acknowledge their hard work in case noone gets to hear about it elsewhere.
There were 8267 participants including 14 Striders. The race was won by Mergersa Tujuba Beyu in 2.09.54. The first woman was Cherono Priscah Jepleting in 2.31.34.
All joking aside, fantastic results from all the Striders there and really I’m just very jealous!!
