Race Date: Sunday 28th June 2015
Whilst a load of us were doing the Round Sheffield, 5 Striders ventured out to Bakewell to compete in the Great Bakewell Pudding fell race. The Great Bakewell Pudding Race Fell Race is 10.4km / 6.5miles long and climbs over 200m / 700 ft in elevation. The race attracted 125 runners and all entrants were awarded with a Bakewell Pudding upon finishing.
The race was won by Darren King on Clowne RR in 39.38. First lady to finish was Katie Walshaw of Holmfirth Harriers in 41.37. Well done to all 5 Striders for their efforts.
