Here’s one that nearly got away!

The ‘FlaminGO! 10k Run’ is a multi-terrain 2-lap course, passing through the zoo, theme park and golf course areas of Flamingo Land. The run is in aid of the Udzungwa Forest Project (UFP), a charity which carries out work in Tanzania to help protect wild animal populations and conserve tropical forests. 248 runners completed the race including our very own lone Strider Naomi Rabin, well done Naomi. The race was won by Tristan Learoyd of New Marske Harriers in 35.14. The first woman was Kay Neesam also of New Marske Harriers in 40.28.
