Top 2 in each category win a prize at the end of the season.
But remember: You needed to have ran 5 of the possible 10 races to be eligible to win a prize.
Caroline stormed to victory this year in the senior female category, winning 2 of the championship races and scoring over 90 in every other race. Fran put up a good fight to be well clear of the chasing pack to take second place.
A particularly tasty category this year with the top three duking it out all year long. James took the win with winning Trust10 a particular highlight. Sam made a late surge to take second place and pip Al to the second prize winning spot.
Lucy made a stunning performance in this year’s championship. Although no-one else qualified for a prize having not done the minimum number of races, this should not take away from Lucy’s performance. Anything over 500 is a fantastic achievement and she may well do the double in the Road Race Championship too. Fantastic work.
A nail biter all the way. Although Dan had it wrapped up with strong early performances, second place came down to the last race. Russell gritted through horrific conditions in the Roaches to ensure he overtook Paul on the last day.
Although Jill topped the table, no-one in the F50 category ran the required number of races for a prize.
Another very competitive category this year. Last year’s winner Rob Davies improved his performance by a massive 60 points, but it wasn’t enough to reclaim the title. Michael Slater’s impressive Trunce time essentially the difference between the top two in this category. Well done Michael, a truly excellent performance.
