Race Date: Sunday 11th June 2017
Accelerate Edale Fell Race is the 3rd of 10 races in the Gritstone Series 2017 and is part of Edale Country Day.
The course is described as ‘a mixture of good dirt trails, very rocky & technical in places, and some pleasant sheep trods through the grass & heather, some sections of flagstones, with only a short section of tarmac through Edale at the finish.’
The 2017 race was won by Alasdair Campbell (Buxton AC) in 35.36, with the first lady home Kim Baxter (SYO) finishing in 43.34. 173 runners took part, including 7 Striders. Congratulations to you all!
