Race Date: Sunday 18th June 2018
A record 4199 runners braved the heat for the 9th running of the Hull 10k as part of the Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All race series.
Runners passed many of Hull’s landmarks, such as the Guildhall and Victoria Park before finishing on Whitefriargate. As with many of the other events in this series a large number of those taking part were doing so to raise money for good causes and this was highlighted by the number taking part in fancy dress adding to the already impressive feat of taking part in the baking sun.
The race was won by Danny Hallam (unattached) in 33:09. The first woman was Sophie Lee (unattached) in 37:45. Well done to the three Striders in attendance:
