Race date:  Saturday 29^th July 2017

This is an annual endurance event organised by the Team Manvers multi-sport club based in the Dearne Valley.  The event involves running around the 3.21 mile lap of Manvers lake as many times as you can in a 12 hour period starting at 18:00 on Saturday.

This year, the event attracted some 222 runners with Howard Seal of Derwent AC Cockermouth completing an amazing 23 laps in the time limit.  Runners are not identified by sex (or by laps) but at a guess, the highest lap count amongst the female competitors was Trina Linley (unattached) with 16.

According to the results sheet, 2 Striders participated, both achieving double figure lap counts.  Well done Adam and David.
