Race Date 5th March 2017.
A slightly windy and rainy morning greeted the 40 Striders who turned out for the second race in this year’s road race championship. The 2017 edition of the ever popular Norton 9 race was dominated by Striders this year, fielding the most runners in the race, winning the Men’s team prize and collecting a host of individual awards along the way.
Well done to each and every Strider who turned out this year. It really was a fantastic day!
First across the line was Gregan Clarkson of Kingston in 49:52 and first female across the line was Faye Banks of Pontefract AC in 55:04.
