Race Date: Sunday 10th September 2017

The DougieMac Stoke 10K (to give the race its full title) is a fundraising event to support the amazing work provided by the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in North Staffordshire. The course gives a fantastic tour of the city of Stoke-on-Trent which starts and finishes at Hanley Park and features a run through the city centre.

The 2017 staging of the race was won by Christopher Gidlow of City of Stoke AC in a time of 34:54, and first lady home was none other than Steel City Strider Simone Young-Alls, who completed the course in a chip time of 44:07. Other notable Strider participation was provided by Richard Pegg, who crossed the line in a time of 47:07. Well done guys!
