Race Date: Wednesday 26th April 2017
As there was snow again this late in April, it meant only one thing – Brodsworth 5 miler was due to take place. Fortunately, this year, there was no blizzard on race day and it was actually quite warm when sheltered. Many thanks once again to Richard Pegg for his sterling efforts in ensuring that the race went smoothly.
Of the 336 runners, the Striders turnout was 51. Well done to all for making the effort. The race was won by Scott Hinchcliffe of Penistone FPRC in 26.41. The first woman home was Nicola Devine of Doncaster AC in 30.56.
