Race date: Sunday 1 July 2018
This race started off as a 5-miler in 2010 to celebrate the opening of Alderley Edge’s bypass. It was then reborn in 2016 as a 10k, when they added a bit of another road to the course. It’s an out and back on fully closed roads, and claims gentle undulation and lovely views of Cheshire.
Two Striders ran the race, with Mark Gray coming first in category.
The race was won by Ben Fish of Blackburn Harriers & AC in 31:49. First female was Kirsty Longley of Liverpool Pembroke & Sefton H AC.
