Race Date: 14th June 2018
Blacka Moor Chase 2018 is 6.7km and has 252 metres of height gain. The route has been slightly changed and shortened this year, but still a lung buster around the many hills of Blackamoor woods above Totley. It’s also the 3rd race in the Totley series and interestingly, this year marked the first time 14 years olds and above were racing alongside the seniors.
247 people completed the race.
1st female was our own Caroline Brock in a time of 32 mins 11 seconds
1st male was Martin Dawson of Derbyshire Running Club in 29 mins 03 seconds
A great turn out of 31 Striders took to the trails of Blackamoor. Well done to everyone. First Strider Home was James Rose in 32:06 pipping Caroline to the post by 5 seconds!
