Long Distance Strider (LDS) February 2018 Update

Here are the 2018 LDS standings up to the end of February.

Over 2,900 competitive miles have been run in the first two months of the year, and the top ends of the tables feature many of the usual LDS suspects.

In the mens’ competition Nicholas Booker leads the way with two big ultras under his belt, with Nick Burns and Richard Pegg not far behind in second and third.  It’s notable how may of the top ten are regular fell race and cross-country runners.

In the ladies’ competition serial LDS specialist Naomi Rabin is out in front, but only one-tenth of a mile ahead of Sian Evans in second. Amy Duck and Laura Hogg aren’t far behind, tied for equal-third place, and again, only one-tenth ahead of Nicole Brown. It’s mighty tight at the top.

As always all entries into LDS come from Striders’ own race results pages, and if it ain’t on there, it ain’t on here. If you see any errors or omissions, please let me know, and I’ll correct the record.
