Matlock Triathlon is organised by Matlock Athletic Club, in conjunction with various swimming and cycling clubs in the region. It has a special emphasis on encouraging and recognising first-time triathletes, with prizes for first three male and female debutantes. The swim is 400m, the cycle 17k and the run 5k.
148 Winner of the 2018 race was Eugene Grant (representing Great Britain) in a total time of 57:08 and first lady was Elsbeth Grant (Matlock Athletic Club) in a time of 01:00:10.
Representing the Green and Gold, Dawn Jackson swam, cycled and ran home in a time of 01:45:03. Well done Dawn!
