Race date: Wednesday 18 July 2018

The Rockingham 5k is organised by Rotherham Harriers, and is an out-and-back with a small loop at the far end, mostly on footpaths. The race advertises “Free refreshments eg chip butties post-race”, and looks fairly flat, so sounds like a good way to spend an evening.

Shaun Wright of Kimberworth Striders was first of the 72 finishers, in 18:12. First female was Lydia Race, of Barnsley AC, in 21:00. Congratulations too to Sarah Allcard for winning her category!
