Race Date: Wednesday 16th May
The Shining Tor is a 10km, Category AS fell race, starting at Errwood Sailing Club, near Buxton, and taking in the delights of Errwood Hall and Shining Tor in the Goyt Valley.
278 runners took to the fells and first back to the Sailing Club was Alasdair Campbell (of Buxton AC, not new Labour) in a time of 39:34. First lady down from the hills was Alice Swift of Chorlton Runners in 49:18. Two Striders made their way over into the Peak to represent the club, Chairman Andy Buck and Matt Gibson, their results can be found below and full race results can be found here.
