Race Date: Sunday 11th February 2018

In the shadow of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and at the heart of super-cool East London, Victoria Park offers the flattest 10k course in central London, with more pubs and great eateries in walking distance of the race finish line than anywhere else. There is a monthly race in the Park during the Winter and  Autumn, and the February staging was frequented by our very own Richard Pegg.

The race was won by Sam Proctor of Dartford Road Runners in a time of 32:04 and first lady was Martha Lloyd of Victoria Park Harriers and Tower Hamlets Athletics Club in a time of 38:22. Richard’s time of 47:35 gave him a top 10 category placing and 93rd position overall. Well done Richard!
