The Dronfield Town FC 10k was the fifth race in the 2019 Striders Road Race Championship, and a massive 127 Striders (47% of the total field of 270) turned out.
The men’s race was won by Nicholas Baker of North Derbyshire RC in 35:24. Strider Phil Skelton was second in 35:35. The women’s race was won by Stella Cross of Wetherby Runners, in 41:26. Strider Helen Burgess was third in 44:00. Striders had 8 women and 5 men in their respective category top 10s.
