At 23 miles with 7,500 ft of ascent, Ennerdale Horseshoe is a true Lakeland Classic and a test of character. The route follows the clockwise horseshoe around Ennerdale Water in the Lake District. The terrain is variable and very rough.
One Strider made the trip up to the lakes for this event.

Finlay Wild of Lochaber Athletic Club won the race in 3:52:36.
Rosie Watson of Cumberland fell runners was first female in 4:57:59
