Race date: Sunday, 3 March 2019
The Hope Fell Race winter version is a 10.5 km course from Hope village, with 540 m of ascent to the top of Win Hill, then around a big anticlockwise loop above Ladybower and back to the village. To judge by the photos on Facebook, it was pretty chilly up there.
The race was won by Harry Holms of Matlock AC in 43:36. First female was Antonia Fan of Skyrac. There were 188 finishers, among them four Striders. Massive congratulations in particular to Alison Barrett, who won her FV40 category.
