Here are the standings of the 2019 Long Distance Strider competition, up to the end of November.

In the women’s competition Sarah Storey extends her lead incredibly, to over a hundred miles ahead of second place.  It’s surely too late for Sarah to be caught by the end of the year? Time will tell. Fran Cummins remains in second place, with Gillian Allen taking third spot.

In the men’s competition, first and second place remain the same, with Nick Burns consolidating his lead over Stuart Jones a little, and Mark Platton is welcomed onto the third step of the podium.

3rd: Gillian Allen (288.9)

Men

1st: Nick Burns (488.26)

2nd: Stuart Jones (430.9)

3rd: Mark Platton (359.57)
