Mad Dog 10k Result

Race Date: Sunday 3rd February 2019

The Mad Dog 10k is billed as a great fun event that takes place along the Southport shore line, normally with over 3000 runners taking part. Organised by the Southport Hesketh Round Table and now in it’s 10th year, the 2019 running was billed as ‘Mad Dog 9 – Bark to the Future’

3014 runners completed the race and first home was Simon Croft of Red Rose RC in 33:57. First lady was Kirsty Longley of Liverpool Pembroke in 35:30. Two Striders took to the sea-front, Stephen Schubeler in his first outing in the green and gold, finished a very respectable eighth in 36:10 whilst Liam Turner, making his debut in the west-coast event scooped a podium place with his 35:14
