This was the 10th running of the Neurocare Rother Valley 10k. The Neurocare team raises money to improve the lives of patients with brain tumours, head injuries and other complex neurological conditions. They support Sheffield’s world-leading neuroscience departments by funding specialist equipment, pioneering research, patient and family support services and the transformation of hospital wards into more comfortable and welcoming spaces.
There were 365 runners who took part, Gary Gregory of Hallamshire Harriers leading the way in 33:53. Rachel Lundgren, also of Hallamshire, was first lady. Liam Turner was first of eight Striders, and fourth overall.
