The Speyside Way Race Ultra Marathon is an established part of the Scottish Ultra calendar. The original route finished at the coast village of Spey Bay, but the reincarniated event now continues on to the end of the Speyside Way in Buckie town centre, making it a 37 mile ultra event.
The 2019 running of the event saw 116 runners take to the Scottish mountains and among their number was Strider Fional Tweedie, who completed the course in 09:46:40, a colossal effort!
