What a week for the Stride for Sheffield Challenge, with over 2,100 miles logged including a mind boggling 809 logged yesterday alone. With another Bank Holiday today I’m sure there’s plenty more miles to come, but as of close of play yesterday the grand total stands at 5701.8 miles. Not bad going at all.
The week saw the tour finish off it’s visit to the North Africa coast before hopping over into Italy. Working it’s way back towards central Europe, taking in the beauty of such cities as Naples, Rome and Milan. A hop over the Alps took in a visit to Switzerland, including a brief stint in Lichtenstein for tax purposes (the only country to come back from a war with more soldiers in the army then it originally sent). From there a steady drive north through Germany finishing up in Frankfurt.
