Saturday 2nd October

A 9.8 mile, 1362ft ascent, Category BM Fell Race.  This race raises funds for Curbar Primary School from where it starts and finishes. The route follows a variety of tracks and paths through Curbar, Frogatt and Baslow.  There was cake.

There were 206 runners in total – including 4 Striders.  The Winner was Joe Oldfield MSen Matlock AC in a time of 1:05:17.  First Woman was Rachel Rose (33rd in race) FSen Sheffield RC with 1:20:05
