Sherwood Pines Forest 10k result

Race Date: Sunday 17th October 2021

Here’s the blurb,

Be a forest runner and join us in our new running series across the nation’s forests this autumn. Whether you are a 5k Forest Runner or a 10k Forest Runner, choose your challenge and enjoy a run in some beautiful surroundings. Both the 5k and the 10k routes lead you into a mixture of broadleaf and mature pines. You’ll run past Robin Hood’s Whetstone along the medieval coach road, onto Pittance Dale. The course is undulating with a mix of fire road and single track.

Our forests are the perfect place to run and this autumn we are excited to bring you Forest Runner, our brand new series of 5k and 10k events. Hosted at ten of our beautiful forests across England, you can choose to run either a 5k or a 10k event and feel inspired to be a forest runner!

All finishers will receive a goody bag which includes a fantastic Forest Runner neck tube. Beautiful solid oak trophies are up for grabs as well as some super prizes from our event sponsors, Merrell. Not only that, you’re helping us to plant more trees; all profits go back into your local forest so that we can keep growing, shaping and caring for our forests across the nation. Website: here
