Yes, Ladybower had perfect trail running weather last night for the Striders 10k – cool breeze, great visibility, mostly dry underfoot, almost no bugs during the run… heaven. As everyone always mentions hills, my Garmin recorded 250m of ascent; that’s only about 50m less that the Sheffield half marathon, so yes, there were up bits. The organisation was excellent – big thank you to all the volunteers (start/finish, halfway) and especially John Kilcoyne and Richard Pegg – organising and running!
