Race Date: Saturday 29th October 2022
The British Masters XC relays were held in Long Eaton at the usual venue. Some rain the day before had softened the ground without creating a mud bath, so competitors had near perfect conditions on what was a warm day down in the Midlands. All women’s categories (W35, W45, W55, W65) had 3 runners per team, but in the men’s it depended on category:
– M65 3 runners
– M55 4 runners
– M35 and M45 5 runners.
This year Striders were able to field 2 men’s teams (M35 and M55) and women’s teams in all 4 age categories. All five teams did us proud, and we came away with bronze medals in W45, W55, and W65 categories.
