Chester Half is a flattish out-and-back, with a finish in the historic city centre. A sole Strider made it this year.

The race was won by (current Percy Pud champion) Omar Ahmed of Birchfield Harriers in 1:03:52. First female runner was Alice Braham of Ealing Eagles RC, in 1:18:04.
