The organisers describe the Doynton Hard Half as hilariously hilly and marvellously muddy, taking place on “public footpaths, bridle paths, and country lanes thick with mud and other sticky things that occur naturally in the countryside”. Doynton is in Gloucestershire, and Alyson Evans took solo Strider honours

The race was won by Michael Dimuantes (unattached) in 1:28:16.2, and Georgie Parnell (also unattached) in 1:46:13.0. 418 finished.
