Race Date: Sunday March 6th 2022

This was the inaugural running of the Khalifa City Run (also referred to as the ‘Park Run’ and ‘Square Run’ depending on your source). The race starts and finishes outside the new Khalifa Park in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, taking a route described as a ‘super flat looped course’. Three distances were on offer: 10k, 5k and 3k. Steven took part in the 10k.

216 runners crossed the finish line for the 10k. Winner of the men’s race was Hamad Al Zeyoudi in a time of 35:34. The women’s race was won by Tamsin Sangster in a time of 00:43:22 (club affiliations unavailable).
