Race Date: Wednesday 6th July 2022

Sheffield Running Club’s Loxley Lash series came to a close in early July, with the final 5k race of 3 around Forge Valley Cycling Track. Well done to Strider Abbie Pearse, the fastest woman across all three events with her Loxley Lash #1 time of 17:55, a Steel City Strider Women’s and FSEN club record; and also to Ade Fisher, 2nd fastest MV40 across all three events, an MV40 club record time of 17:39.

59 runners took part in race 3, divided across 3 heats. The men’s race was won by John Birch of Hallamshire Harriers in a time of 15:44, and winner of the women’s race was Natalie Neville of Hillsborough & Rivelin RC in a time of 19:33. Six Striders took part.
