Eleven Striders braved the post-Christmas bleariness and took part in the Totley AC-organised Two Turtle Doves race. Powered by brussels sprouts and Bristol Cream they took several high category places before returning to their leftover turkey and Quality Streets.
109 racers took part. The race was won by Finlay Grant of Buxton AC in 33:25.5, and Pippa Dakin of Carnethy, in 44:24.6.
