Weather conditions looked great out in Malaga for this years’ Marathon and Half Marathon road races.
Two Striders were among the many British competitors taking part in the Half. Kevin Wong and Kate Scott both had excellent races, with Kate finishing 2nd in the V60 age category.
Kate commented on Malaga being a party city, wishing she had not been staying next door to a karaoke bar the night before the race. The Christmas lights look wonderful though!
First man was Jack Wood (Ilkley Harriers) in 1:06:25 and first lady was Tessa McCormick (Vale Royal AC) in 1:15:07. There were 6492 finishers including Kate and Kevin.
