Race Date: Saturday 19th April 2025

RunThrough Events hosts various races over the year at Carsington Water (there appears to be one every other month throughout 2025). There are usually two distances to choose from with runners deciding between the 10k and the half marathon distance. This course is described as an undulating route on trail paths around Carsington Water. The half marathon route is and out and back followed by 1 full loop of the reservoir. The 10k is almost one full loop of the reservoir.

The April event saw 299 runners take part in the 10k and 322 in the half marathon. The 10k race was won by Yun Sang Lai, unattached, in 39:18. The first female finisher was Danielle Stack of Sinfin Rc, in 42:07. The half marathon was won by Liam Watson of Mansfield Harriers in 01:15:18. The first female finisher was Sarah-Jane Bamford, unattached, in 01:27:26.
