Runthrough Events organises several 10k/half marathon events at Carsington Water. The two distances run concurrently and the courses overlap. The course is nice (even if the weather appears not to have been) and two Striders took part in the latest edition.

The 10k was won by Patrick Welsh of Derby AC in 34:44, and by Chloe Potter of Hallamshire Harriers in 38:39. The half was won by Sam McCracken of Mansfield Harriers in 1:22:36 and Emma Peace of Vegan Runners in 1:37:04. 332 runners finished the 10k and 367 the half.
