Race Date: Sunday 11th May 2025
The weather was hot for this year’s Redbrik Foundation Chesterfield 10k, a popular race which starts and finishes (with a spiral flourish) in Chesterfield’s Queens Park. The main part of the route heads out through the streets to the west of the centre, and features just over 100 metres of undulating elevation. As with previous years, race pack collection required a trip to Chesterfield in the days before.
Fourteen Striders were among 1315 finishers at the Redbrik Foundation Chesterfield 10k. The men’s race was won by David Archer of Hallamshire Harriers in a time of 0:33:08. Hayley Gill of Mansfield Harriers won the women’s race in a time of 0:37:38. Well done to Striders Sarah Allcard (1st F50), Frances Roberts (2nd FSEN) & Karen Clark (2nd F60) for some great category results.
